Our Story
The Stettler Pheasant Festival began in 2014 with the partnership between the Stettler Regional Board of Trade & Community Development, Canadian Badlands Tourism, and several passionate volunteers. The committee was able to offer half-day hunting opportunities along with a beginner hunt.
Today the festival offers three days of privatized hunting for registered participants in half day or full-day hunts along with the opportunity to participate in hands on interactive learning sessions throughout the weekend. |
Registrations for the half day sessions include privatized hunting grounds in pre- assigned areas for up to four hunters and their dogs. Each half day hunt will be $325.00 and includes 8 Pheasants to be released just prior to your hunt. Additional pheasants are available for purchase.
Following the festival, a release of 300 hens will be performed to help further improve conservation within the County of Stettler and increase the pheasant population for future hunters. |
